Acknowledgements
All orders will be acknowledged and artwork will be verified. Orders are processed and billed in accordance with information appearing on our acknowledgement.

Artwork
Camera ready art is: Sharply detailed art on glossy photographic paper, correctly sized at 600 dpi, requires no enlarging, reducing, touch up or typesetting. Artwork is NOT camera ready if it is submitted on a business card, matte or textured paper, wrinkled, folded, faxed, photo copied, in color, or less than 600 dpi.

Set up charges includes the reproduction of art, trademarks and logos. To avoid artwork charges, submit camera-ready artwork to exact size - 600 dpi or at 200% - 300 dpi. No artwork should be more than 200% of actual printing size. Ritter Pen also offers excellent art cleaning and reproduction abilities for a flat rate of $40(G).

4-color process & multi color imprints: Submit color separated, camera ready, and correctly sized art showing registration marks. Please send actual fonts required for the artwork and PMS colors. Artwork may be submitted on a disk, preferably ZIP, JAZ or MOD 1.2 GB

Additional imprint colors
See each item for corresponding charges. Allow one additional day production time per each additional imprint color. 1000 minimum order for 4 or more colors. Change of imprint color: $10(G) each 500-piece minimum per color change. Change of color combination of pen parts: $10(G) 1000 minimum per combination.

PMS color match
We will match as closely as possible without charge. Please note: Colors printed on white pen parts will appear differently when printed on colored pen parts. Every effort will be made to match colors. However, in order to achieve maximum color results, it may be necessary to first print a "white flash". If a "white flash" is needed an additional running charge of 0.05(G) will apply.

Production time:
Approximately 2-3 weeks on catalog quantity. Production time depends on quantity of order and number of imprint colors. Production time does not begin until we have received approved camera ready art, complete order information (item, color of pen parts, imprint instructions, approved ship date) & approval of the paper proof or production proof. Approvals must be in written form. Orders for metal barrels: Add 5 days to production time. Pre-production proof: Add 5-7 working days to production time.

Repeat Orders:
Each order is assembled to your specifications, therefore normal production time will apply.

Set up charges & running charges

Set up charges:
$20(G) per color on barrel $20(G) per color on clip $80(G) per 4-color process design on barrel & or clip. $30(G) per halftone, $50 less than minimum.

Running charges:
0.10(G) per color on barrel
0.12(G) per color on clip
0.30(G) per 4-color process imprint on barrel & clip.
0.05(G) per "white flash" on barrel & or clip (if needed)
Repeat orders: Exact repeat orders less than 10,000 pieces, will incur ½ set up charges. Full set ups will apply on all 4-color process orders that are less than 10,000.

Over & under runs
All orders are subject to over and under runs of 5% and will be billed accordingly. Add $30(G) for exact quantity.

Refill
x-20 refill black is standard, blue is also available
add $0.10(G) for Jumbo refill
add $0.25(G) for large capacity refill
add $0.35(G) for metal large capacity refill

Shipping and packaging
F.O.B. Florida unless otherwise quoted. All orders will be bulk shipped unless special packaging is requested. Ritter Pen Corporation will not be responsible for delayed shipments when given to carrier on time. Unless carrier is specified; we will ship the best and least expensive based on time, destination, and weight. Special packaging is available. Please call for quote. Each additional shipping location add $10(G).

International Shipments
Orders that require international destinations require a Commercial Invoice, shipping method/carrier & account number for shipment of order.

Pricing
Catalog pricing includes a 1-color imprint on the barrel. Quotes are valid for 90 days unless otherwise specified. Pricing, items, and colors are subject to change without further notice.

Changed or cancelled orders
Prior to production all cost incurred to date will be billed. After production all merchandise originally ordered will be charged.

Rush orders
Must have factory approval. 15% rush charge will apply to orders that are required in less than 5 working days from signed approval to move forward with production. Camera-ready art is required on all rush orders.

Freight claims, breakage & shortage
Claims have to be made with 10 days of receipt of order.

Returned Goods
Not accepted without factory approval & RA number.

Copyrights & catalog pictures
When orders are printed to customer's specification, the purchaser agrees to assume any liability resulting from actions, or demand against supplier for copyright infringements. Products and logos shown in this catalog appear only to illustrate the basic products, and the ability to print on them. They are never intended to suggest that the imprints are readily available to any purchaser of the owner of the trademark, copyright, art of copy. In all cases, we have produced merchandise with the artwork used on our photos.

Pre-production proofs:
$20(G) plus all set up charges (No charge for proofs on orders of 15,000 or more)

Speculative Samples:
$20(G) plus all set up & shipping charges. Rebated on orders of 10,000 & over.

Random imprinted samples:
No charge. Pre-production proofs, Spec samples, & Random samples will be sent via U.S. Mail. Customer account number must be supplied for Fed Ex, UPS, or Airborne service.
